He represents the media audience of the Big Country as a member of the Board of Directors of the Texas Association of Broadcasters, through volunteer service with Hamby Fire Department and Global Samaritan Resources, as an entertainment personality with the Abilene Flying Bison, and as a local church musician with the Episcopal church.
